Vu Nguyet Thu from Long Bien Ward said she and her children travelled to My Dinh to see the 105mm ceremonial cannons. “I was overwhelmed. In these historic August days, I feel proud and grateful. I joined the April 30 celebration in HCM City, and this time I will surely be here with my children,” she shared.

A joint rehearsal of mass contingents also took place at My Dinh National Stadium on the morning of August 20, with the participation of the Hanoi People’s Committee, Tran Sy Thanh.

According to Le Thi Van Anh, a student at the University of Transport and Communications, she and her friends came to My Dinh National Stadium as early as 6 am. She said it was a great honour and pride to participate in the September 2 parade.
