The conditions of the three survivors of the recent helicopter crash in Hanoi have deteriorated, said Lieutenant General Vo Van Tuan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.
Minister of Health are doctors discussing the soldiers' health condition
Tuan said that on July 14, he was informed by the National Institute of Burns that the the soldiers are now in very bad condition. They are under the care of a medical team picked from the most elite doctors in Vietnam.
Doctors at the National Institute of Burns held a consultation with several large hospitals in Hanoi on July 9 to work out the best treatment methods for three soldiers who suffered severe burns.
The helicopter crash occurred on the morning of July 7 in the outlying district of Thach That, causing 18 fatalities, and injuring three.
