
China Southern Airlines resumed the Guangzhou-Cam Ranh air route on September 29 following a hiatus caused by Covid-19. The airline is currently operating three flights on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
They are planning to run daily flights on the route beginning October 29. Flight CZ6049 will depart Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 2.20 pm (local time) and arrives at Cam Ranh International Airport at 3.50 pm.
Flight CZ6050 flight will depart Cam Ranh International Airport at 4.40 pm and arrive at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 8.10 pm (local time).
According to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Tourism Department, Chinese tourists have returned to the province since the beginning of this year. Travel firms have co-operated with Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air to operate routes linking Khanh Hoa and some major cities in China.
China Southern Airlines is the first Chinese commercial airline to open flights to Khanh Hoa after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Khanh Hoa welcomed a total of 4.25 million domestic tourists and 1.45 million foreign travellers in the past nine months of 2023.
