Speaking to Dantri/Dtinews, representatives of Ford Vietnam and Geely Vietnam said all petrol powered models sold by the two brands are designed to run on E10 fuel and that its use does not affect vehicle quality.
Ford Vietnam currently sells petrol powered passenger models such as the Ford Everest, Ford Ranger and Ford Territory. Geely Vietnam offers petrol engine models including the Geely Coolray, Geely Monjaro and Geely EX5-EM-i.
Toyota Vietnam said all of its vehicles produced from 1997 onwards, including both new and used cars, are compatible with RON 95-V, E5 RON 92 and E10 fuel.
The company added that using E10 would not increase maintenance or repair costs for Toyota vehicles.
Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam said all petrol engine vehicles it manufactures, assembles and distributes in Vietnam, including imported and locally-assembled models, are designed to operate with E10 biofuel, which contains up to 10 per cent ethanol.

According to Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam, the company has not recorded any significant differences in vehicle performance when E10 is used under standard operating conditions.
The company also said E10 does not affect engine durability or vehicle components, and customers would not face additional costs for equipment installation, technical adjustments, maintenance or repairs related to the fuel.
For luxury vehicles, Audi Vietnam, officially operated by Asia Auto Company Ltd, said E10 fuel is approved for use in most Audi petrol vehicles under guidance issued by European Automobile Manufacturers' Association.

However, Audi Vietnam noted that several early generation FSI direct injection models are not compatible with E10. These include the Audi A2 1.6 FSI produced from 2003 to 2005, the Audi A3 1.6 FSI and 2.0 FSI from 2004, and the Audi A4 2.0 FSI built between 2003 and 2004.
Audi also advised that A4 Saloon and Avant models produced from 2001 to 2008 and equipped with parking heaters are not recommended to use E10 in cold weather conditions in colder countries.

S&S Automotive, the official distributor of Rolls-Royce vehicles in Vietnam, said all current Rolls-Royce models can use E10 fuel.
The distributor advised customers to purchase fuel from reputable suppliers such as Petrolimex to ensure ethanol blending meets the E10 standard of 10 per cent ethanol.
It also recommended maintaining regular vehicle use and filling fuel tanks completely rather than partially during refuelling.
Under Circular 50/2025, from June 1 all unleaded petrol sold in Vietnam must be blended into E10 biofuel for petrol engines nationwide.
E5 RON 92 fuel will continue to be available until the end of 2030 to support older motorcycle models, according to the regulation.
