A Canadian tourist has died after falling off a cliff in the central province of Danang.

According to police in Hoa Vang District, the accident occurred at Ba La Waterfall at 4 pm on July 20 when a group of eight visitors went sightseeing.
"The 46-year-old Vietnamese Canadian man and a woman in the group climbed to the top of the waterfall to take photos," the police reported. "He then slipped and fell off the cliff which is over 20 metres high."
After being informed about the accident, Hoa Vang police sent rescue teams to the site and found the body of the man the same evening.
Police are further investigating the cause of the accident.
