According to the initial information, on the afternoon of December 25, a group of nine young people held a party by Da Ton Lake in Tan Phu District’s Thanh Son Commune.
Three people drowned in boat sink in Dong Nai
At around 4 pm, three women and one man hired a boat from a local household. However, just a short time after departure, the boat sank. A woman among those was saved by their friends, while the other three were failed to be rescued.
The missing people were later found dead.
Most of the victims were local residents, with one from Lam Dong Province.
People have been banned from Da Ton Lake due to safety fears.
