A video of residents showcasing the stream's unusual phenomenon has gone viral on social media since Tuesday evening, sparking widespread attention. Many suspect the discolouration may be linked to chemical waste from nearby factories.

Residents of Chon Thanh Commune reported witnessing the stream's water change to this unusual colour for the first time. The cause of the mysterious discolouration remains unclear.

After being informed, local authorities quickly came to the stream to check. They took some water samples for testing and are investigating businesses suspected of illegal waste discharge.
