Belarus-Khanh Hoa direct flight route launched

A new direct air route between Minsk and Cam Ranh is expected to boost arrivals from Belarus to the southern central province of Khanh Hoa.

The Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on March 20 said it had welcomed the inaugural flight from Minsk National Airport to Cam Ranh International Airport.

Flight B2795, with a capacity of 281 passengers, landed at 3.30 pm local time. From Cam Ranh International Airport, visitors travel more than 30 kilometres north by road to reach Nha Trang.

The aircraft was greeted with a ceremonial water salute, a traditional aviation gesture marking significant inaugural flights.

Belarus has emerged as a growing source market for Khanh Hoa. The province received more than 3,200 Belarusian visitors in 2024, rising to nearly 9,000 in 2025, an increase of about 173 per cent.

In the first two months of 2026, arrivals exceeded 2,100, equivalent to roughly 24 per cent of the total for 2025, indicating continued momentum.

With the launch of the direct service, Belarusian visitor numbers are expected to rise further, helping diversify and strengthen Khanh Hoa’s international tourism base.
