Hundreds of Argentina fans gathered on Bui Vien Street in HCM City, a popular backpacker hangout, on Sunday evening to celebrate the national football team's win over France in an epic World Cup final.

Right after the game started at 10pm on Sunday (Vietnam time), foreigners joining with Vietnamese football fans flocked to local bars and restaurants that were screening the match.
"The atmosphere here is great. I'm so happy that we finally won the cup again," one fan said.
And the exciting atmosphere went on through the night until the game ended early on Monday morning.
