An exhibition of nearly 200 antiques has been showcased at Danang Museum.
This is the first time nine private collectors in the city have selected and displayed artefacts dating back from the Cham period and the Ly, Tran, Le and Nguyen dynasties. The collectors will also donate some products among their collections to the museum.
The earliest items on display date back to the 4-5th century. The Statute of Bodhisattva made from copper, wood and fossilised wood dates back to the 19th century.
The collection also features tobacco pipes made from copper and terracotta, lime-pots, small bottles of wine, Tay Son Dynasty swords and some ornamental objects such as dishes and bowls.
Visitors also have a chance to see the final almanac of Nguyen Dynasty used by the royal family owned by collector Nguyen Ba Lan.
