Several airlines in Vietnam have stopped baggage tag checks at the exits of domestic arrival terminals to ease congestion.
Passengers are advised to stick name tags to their luggage to easily identify it. Vietnam Airlines also prints name tags free of charge for passengers at the check-in desks.

Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City is expected to serve 120,000 passengers a day on average during the long holiday break, up 12 percent, according to the airport's Operations Control Centre. Meanwhile, the number of passengers passing through Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi during the holiday is forecast to increase by 20 percent, with the peak day reaching 80,000 passengers.
