H'Hen Nie said that she wanted to show a new image of being a Miss Vietnam with the strong, confident and modern beauty. Hairstyles are irrelevant, what she can do to contribute to society was more important, she said.
At an event on April 2, she appeared in the bob hairstyle. H’Hen Nie said that she wanted to refresh her appearance.
The style is inspired by Mary Louise Brooks, American film actress and dancer during the 1920s and 1930s.
