Nearly two hours later, the rescue team successfully located the men aged 30 and 19 from Van Gia Town in Khanh Hoa.

After being brought down from the mountain, both were in stable health. They shared that seeing many people rave about the beauty of Co Tien Mountain had inspired them.

During the daytime, they quickly followed a trail to climb the mountain. However, when darkness fell, they struggled to find their way back.

In recent years, Co Tien Mountain has drawn many travellers, including foreigners. Visitors can admire a panoramic view of Nha Trang City from the mountaintop.

However, the rugged terrain of the mountain with steep slopes challenges climbers. Incidents have occurred, especially among first-time hikers unfamiliar with the route.

The Khanh Hoa Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department has urged people to avoid climbing the mountain without a guide or proper safety equipment.
