The road will pass through Thuan An, Thu Dau Mot and Ben Cat cities and Dau Tieng District. It will also be linked to HCM City’s belt roads 3 and 4 and Road DT 744, along with some ongoing projects, including An Son Port Cluster, An Tay Port, and Phu Cuong Thinh Port.

Saigon River's section running through Binh Duong
The section running through Thuan An City will span 13.6 kilometres and feature six lanes. Meanwhile, the Thu Dau Mot and Ben Cat sections will cover 16.7 kilometres and 39.79 kilometres, respectively.
The project is scheduled to be completed between 2025 and 2030. Once operational, it will replace the current earthen embankment.
Earlier, Vo Van Minh, Chairman of the Binh Duong People’s Committee, highlighted that the road along the Saigon River aligns with the province’s strategic plan to transform the Saigon River corridor into a key growth driver for the southern economic zone. This initiative is designed to enhance infrastructure, create vibrant public spaces, meet transportation needs, and accelerate urban development along the river.
