The programme took place simultaneously at three locations: Thong Nhat Park in Hanoi, the Hien Luong - Ben Hai Special National Relic Site in Quang Tri Province, and the Saigon Riverside Park in Ho Chi Minh City.
President Luong Cuong attended the event at the Ho Chi Minh City venue, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh was present at the Hanoi site, and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man participated from Quang Tri.

With the participation of more than 1,200 artists, the programme vividly portrayed the proud history of Vietnam, highlighting historic lessons, the spirit of unity, and the remarkable achievements the country has made throughout its journey of nation-building and development.
A major highlight of the evening was a 15-minute fireworks display, which began at 9:50 pm.
Tens of thousands of people gathered to enjoy the event.
