Thousands of people arrive for Ngo boat race
A special attraction at the festival is the boat race. And, even though it started at noon, people still flocked to the banks of the Maspero River to watch since morning.
Several roads in the area were crowded, which caused traffic problems for police in the vicinity. Despite the obstacles, the crowd was dense, and the atmosphere was jovial.
The festival was a part of the Mekong Delta Economic Cooperation Forum 2014.
