Passengers on board Scoot Airlines flight TR314 from Singapore receive gifts upon their arrival at Danang International Airport
Scoot Airlines flight TR314, departing from Singapore Changi International Airport with over 170 passengers on board, landed at Danang International Airport on October 20, marking the airline’s inaugural flight to Danang, one of Vietnam’s top tourist destinations.
The Danang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Central Airports Authority, Danang International Airport’s Border Police, Danang International Airport authorities, Danang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company, and Scoot Airlines organsed a warm welcoming ceremony for the guests.
The celebrations included a traditional water cannon salute, cultural performances, presentation of flowers and souvenirs to passengers, and commemorative photo sessions.
The new direct air route from Singapore to Danang operated by Scoot Airlines has a frequency of three flights per week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Starting from January 2026, the airline plans to increase the frequency to seven flights per week. Flights will be operated using Airbus A320 aircraft, with seating capacity ranging from 180 to 186 seats.
According to the Danang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, tourist arrivals from Singapore to Danang have shown steady growth. In the first nine months of 2025, Danang welcomed 69,488 visitors from Singapore.
The launch of this direct route, alongside existing services from Singapore Airlines and Vietjet Air, brings the total weekly flights between Singapore and Danang to 24. This expansion is expected to enhance bilateral tourism cooperation opportunities in the near future.
