Ninh Thuan hasn't reported any Covid-19 cases but tighter preventive measures have been applied as the virus is spreading across many localities in Vietnam.
Customers are encouraged to use takeaway services. For on-site service, restaurants must not serve more than 10 people at the same time. Street vendors are only allowed to offer takeaway services.
On June 1, Ninh Thuan People's Committee closed all local beaches. Phan Rang Night Market is also seeing much fewer visitors than usual.

"We will follow the regulations," Le Quang Thi, a cafe owner on Ho Xuan Huong Street, said, "We hope that when everyone co-operates together, the outbreak will be controlled soon."
