The 19th flower street, was entitled Homeland Spring, Full of Love.
The opening ceremony at 7 pm on Saturday saw the participation of former State President Truong Tan Sang and representatives from HCM City authorities.
Nguyen Minh Hung, 56, from Danang said that this was the first time he travelled to HCM City on the Lunar New Year or Tet. He really liked Nguyen Hue Flower Street. He was really impressed by Nguyen Hue Flower Street.
Visitors are being asked to make health declarations and conform to Covid-19 prevention regulations.
Many children were brought to the event which featured the city’s fight against Covid-19.
Le Xuan Duong and his wife took photos at the flower street. Duong said that he came to Nguyen Hue Flower Street every year.
Thousands of people rushed to the street.

Nguyen Hue Flower Street will be open until 5 pm on February 4.
