

People are currently concentrating on drying rice crackers to meet the Tet demand.


Nguyen Nhu Kieu, a local resident, said that his facility makes around 150,000 rice papers daily ahead of Tet. He has hired more people to ensure capacity.

Rice crackers in Tay Lan which are well-known for their high quality and delicious flavour. The crackers are made from rice flour and sesame seeds. When baked, they become crisp, flavorful, chewy, and emit a delightful fragrance from the black sesame seeds.

The locals usually take advantage of sunny days to dry the crackers. Crackers are continuously flipped to become dry more quickly.
