The three-day festival, which runs until October 26, features 20 hot air balloons of various sizes performing tethered flights around Lam Vien Square, creating a striking panorama of colour and movement.
Flights take place at sunrise and sunset, offering visitors romantic views of Dalat. Three large balloons have been specially designed for visitors to board and take photographs.
Alongside the balloon displays, the festival also includes large-scale music and light performances, adding to the lively atmosphere.
Nguyen Tran Thu Ngoc, a visitor from HCM City said that “I’m lucky to be in Dalat during the festival. The colourful sky and fresh air make this an unforgettable experience.”
According to Dinh Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Province’s People’s Committee, the event aims to promote the province’s natural beauty and rich cultural heritage.
