The Lam Dong Hot Air Balloon and Arts Festival 2025, scheduled for October 24-26, will mark the first time the province hosts an event that combines hot air balloon performances, music, and modern technology on an international scale.
The highlight of the festival will be a display of 20 colourful hot air balloons, including three large balloons flying at level 7, twelve balloons flying at level 1, and five decorative balloons on the ground.

The Central Highlands province of Lam Dong will organise its largest-ever hot air balloon and arts festival this month
The balloons will glow together against the dawn and sunset skies above Lam Vien Square, crafting a stunning panorama that is set to be a special attraction for travellers.
Alongside the hot air balloons, the arts programme The Sunrise Legacy will be staged at the Dalat Opera House, showcasing renowned performers such as Duc Tri, Le Quyen, Ta Minh Tam, Vo Ha Tram and Phuong Vy.
The line-up covers everything from orchestral works and patriotic songs to contemporary hits, portraying Lam Dong’s cultural legacy and hopes for the future.
During the festival, a range of side activities, including outdoor art exhibitions, street performances, and hot air balloon photo zones, will also be held, creating a lively atmosphere for visitors.
According to the organisers, thorough preparations have been made, covering everything from flight safety and security to traffic management. The festival is expected to draw tens of thousands of visitors, providing a significant boost to tourism while encouraging longer stays and increased spending in Dalat.
