The South Korean tourist shares about her trip to Tuyen Quang Province on YouTube.
She had planned a three-day motorbike journey to explore landscapes and culture. In her video, she marvelled at the mountains, winding roads and fresh highland air, describing the ride as thrilling and unforgettable.
However, on the first day she lost control and tumbled into a roadside ditch, with fruit falling on her and leaving her shaken. “It felt like a big fruit had dropped from a truck onto my head,” she said. “My knee hurts now. Luckily, I was not too badly injured.”
Several locals quickly rushed to help. Two men lifted her motorbike, while a woman invited her home to wash, change clothes and even washed her hair. Later, a young man took her to a restaurant for hot noodles and refused payment. Residents also helped her repair the bike and find accommodation.

The tourist receives help from local people after having a traffic accident during her trip.
Although she spoke no Vietnamese and they knew no Korean, gestures were enough to connect. Their kindness deeply moved her. “I am really happy. People here are so kind. I will definitely come back,” she said, adding that the day’s nice weather made her feel even more grateful.
She later confirmed her health had stabilised, though she had to cut her trip short. Many South Korean viewers expressed regret over her mishap but said it was a blessing in disguise, as she met such generous strangers.
