A billionaire family from India has held a lavish seven day wedding on Phu Quoc Island, drawing more than 1,130 guests from India’s wealthy elite.
The so called wedding of the century took over an entire five star resort and its entertainment and convention complex, spanning 12,000 square metres.

Decor and set up alone cost more than USD 2 million, creating a series of visually striking, fully personalised spaces that shifted from formal rituals to outdoor themed parties, artistic performances and intimate galas.
All designs were exclusive and incorporated cutting edge technology, while Vietnamese cultural elements were subtly woven into the decor and performances.
To ensure smooth operations, organisers deployed more than 1,000 on site staff and coordinated over 1,200 partners, contractors and technicians. Preparations lasted about a month, including 18 days of beach construction and 15 days of building plazas and outdoor venues.
Guests travelled on four large chartered round trip flights, supplemented by eight private jets arranged for the family and VIPs.

According to An Giang’s Department of Tourism, Phu Quoc is expected to welcome around 150,000 Indian visitors in 2025 for leisure travel and wedding events.
The island has long been a preferred wedding destination for foreign billionaire couples, valued for its safety, privacy and tailored services.
