Streets and buildings in HCM City have been decorated with colourful lights to welcome the new year.
Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street is seeing a large number of people on these days. Dozens of decorative arches have been put up, making the city look more colourful than ever.
Meanwhile, stores and restaurants also been decorated with lanterns to join in the atmosphere.
