Hang Ma Street is packed with people in the evenings. Families take their children out to experience the Mid-Autumn atmosphere.

Hanoi’s recent mild and pleasant weather has created ideal conditions for outdoor activities.

Lanterns and star-shaped lights of all sizes and designs, captivating visitors, cover stalls along Hang Ma Street.

Many stalls are also decorated with eye-catching backdrops, providing visitors with an opportunity to take photos after shopping.

Many people from neighbouring localities also travelled to Hang Ma Street to enjoy the Mid-Autumn atmosphere. Giang, from Me Linh Commune in Hanoi, said, “Even though our home is far away, my husband and I were determined to bring our child here. The street is so vibrant and bustling, with everyone laughing and chatting, creating a truly joyful festive atmosphere.”

Children delighted in taking photos with the Monkey King character while their parents purchased traditional toys for them.

According to Tran Thi Hong Tra, 19, from Tuyen Quang Province, she chose Hang Ma Street for its vibrant and festive atmosphere, as it always offers a special excitement during the Mid-Autumn Festival. The beautifully decorated stalls, filled with lanterns, drums, and masks, remind her of her childhood.
