A cafe on Nguyen Hong Street in Hanoi is attracting young visitors and K-pop fans with vivid red rose decor and floral jackets and crowns designed to mimic G-Dragon’s style. Large roses on the facade have quickly become a popular photo spot.

My Linh, a longtime G-Dragon fan, said she discovered the cafe on TikTok and visited out of curiosity. Wearing a floral jacket and posing by the rose wall, she said, felt like transforming into her idol.
Another fan, Le Lam, travelled more than 15km from Ngoc Hoi to visit. The staff helped adjust every detail and showed me how to pose, he said, adding that the photos turned out even better than expected.
Inside, a dedicated corner displays portraits of the singer and a red rose jacket reminiscent of those worn on stage, alongside matching floral accessories for visitors.

According to Bui Thi Khanh Linh of Nyna Coffee, check-ins at the Nguyen Hong branch have doubled since images of the rose wall went viral, with customers often queueing for photos. Some days we can barely prepare the outfits in time, she said.
The concept, developed by the cafe’s marketing head and longtime G-Dragon fan, builds on the success of a chrysanthemum wall at another branch and draws inspiration from the singer’s red rose coat from the Ubermensch World Tour.

All decorations were made in-house. It took nearly a month to source materials and hand-stitch each rose, Linh said, adding that the challenge was keeping the jacket natural and flattering without being too heavy.
Drinks cost between VND 50,000 and VND 80,000 (approximately USD 1.97 to 3.15). Bills from VND 139,000 come with a Moshi bear keychain dressed in rose-themed outfits matching the cafe’s decor.

The social media buzz has driven a surge in customers, many returning for new photo sets or bringing friends. Some said the handmade jacket is heavy, but the experience of posing before the rose wall was worth it for G-Dragon fans.
