The Danang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on December 9 held a press conference to introduce the festival, which features themed check-in spaces showcasing Christmas décor, music, Hoi An-inspired colours and a series of photo zones promoting Danang’s beach tourism throughout the 2026 peak season.

A key highlight of the festival is the “Danang-Welcoming 2026” Avenue on Bach Dang pedestrian street during the nights of December 30-31, 2025, and January 1, 2026, offering interactive art installations, street performances and music events.
The city will also stage its first-ever night run named Lighting Up the Han River- Run to the Future on December 31.
Other activities include an opening ceremony on the eastern side of the Dragon (Rong) Bridge, the Cheer Fest food space, countdown art nights in Tam Thanh and Hoi An, and the Danang Concert 2026 at the Danang Museum. The city will additionally host street events and ceremonies welcoming the first flights and trains of the new year.
Danang will also launch year-end shopping promotions such as Mega Sale and a branded-goods fair.
Authorities expect the festival to create a lively atmosphere, foster creativity and further strengthen Danang’s position as one of the region’s leading festival destinations.
