On Le Dai Hanh Street in Xuan Huong-Dalat Ward, trees that had shed their leaves are now covered in dense clusters of blossoms, drawing crowds of residents and visitors.
“This year the flowers are more abundant and more vibrant than last year. They make Dalat more beautiful and inviting than ever,” said a local resident.

Along Tran Quoc Toan Street by Xuan Huong Lake, cherry blossoms have been in bloom for several days, enhancing the area’s already scenic landscape.

Other central streets, including Tran Hung Dao, Hung Vuong, Ho Tung Mau, To Hieu and Le Dai Hanh, are also awash with colour.

Photographer Vu Huynh Cuong said the blossoms bloom in stages and can last several weeks, making this one of the most visually striking times of the year in Dalat.

The city is currently enjoying favourable weather, with clear skies, bright sunshine and temperatures ranging from 10 to 22 degrees Celsius, ideal for sightseeing and photography.

Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, a tourist from Hanoi, said she and her family were fortunate to arrive during peak bloom. “I was overwhelmed by how beautiful and romantic it is. It has made our trip especially memorable,” she said.

Over the years, local authorities and residents in Lam Dong have planted thousands of cherry blossom trees along streets and in public spaces, helping shape Dalat’s identity as a city of flowers.

Since early January, Lam Dong has also hosted cherry blossom festivals to promote Dalat’s appeal to domestic and international visitors.
