During patrols, the rangers in the national park found three homemade firearms, which were then handed over to local police.

Bạch Ma National Park covers over 37,423 hectares, extending across the Phu Loc and Nam Dong districts in Thua Thien-Hue Province and the Dong Giang District in Quang Nam Province.

Bach Ma National Park, recognised as an ASEAN Heritage Park in 2022, is among the most biodiverse areas in Vietnam and the world. The park is also home to Vietnam's second bear rescue centre.

More and more endangered, precious, and rare wild species, such as the greater hog badger and white pheasant, have been recently spotted at the park.
