Le Thi Truong An from Thanh Khe District said that Ban Co Peak is a favourite destination of her family and many visitors. However, following recent torrential rain, the road to the site has seen more landsides.
Authorities have set up barriers and warning signs along the road to Ban Co Peak to alert risks to travellers.
The central city of Danang has planned to launch tea-tasting tours to Ban Co Peak, which American billionaire Bill Gates visited in March. This is part of the Danang Department of Tourism's draft programme for tourism promotion in 2025.
