A house's roof is damaged by a strong tornado in Quang Nam Province on June 27.
Speaking to Dantri on the morning of June 28, Nguyen Minh Sy, Chairman of the Que Chau Commune People's Committee, said the tornado lasted just 10 minutes but caused significant damage. Many houses had their roofs torn off and several trees were uprooted.
Local authorities from Que Chau Commune and Que Son District visited affected households on June 28 to offer support and help residents purchase roofing materials.

According to Sy, households suffering severe damage will receive VND 1 million (approximately USD 39), while those with minor damage will be given VND 500,000 (approximately USD 20).
