Vietnamese belly dancers won one gold medal and two silver medals at the Asia-Pacific competition in Hong Kong on December 8.
Do Hong Hanh took one gold and a silver medal at the competition
Vietnamese leading belly dancer Do Hong Hanh won the gold medal in the tribal fusion category at the Far East International Belly dance Competition. She was also presented with silver medal for Egyptian - professional tradition.
Meanwhile, her student Hoang Thuy Linh from the Sadie club won silver medal for teenage form.
The Vietnamese delegation was invited to perform at the awards ceremony and participate in a charity programme in China’s Hong Kong on December 9 thanks to their triumphant showing.
Do Hong Hanh, with her outstanding achievements over the past four years, was named among the top ten best international choreographers for international belly dance events.
In May, Vietnamese delegation won ten medals at a global belly dance competition in China’s Taiwan.
