Golf tournament raises over VND500 million for charity

The Investor Newspaper golf tournament has just raised the newspaper's million for charity activities, according to the newspaper's editor-in-chief, Pham Duc Son.

The Investor Newspaper golf tournament has just raised the newspaper's million for charity activities, according to the newspaper's editor-in-chief, Pham Duc Son.

At the event's closing on October 5, Son said the tournament gathered 136 participants representing domestic and foreign investors, central and local state management agencies, and media agencies.

"Doan Dinh Dau won the trophy at this year's tournament," Son said. "First prizes went to Dao Phong Truc Dai (group A), Vu Van Diep (group B), and Hoang Ha Anh (group C). The organisers also handed other prizes to golfers for their performances."

According to the organisers, this year's event raised more than VND500 million (USD20,200).

"We'll co-operate with donors to hand over all of this money to disadvantaged people, especially students from low-income families who overcome difficulties and achieve good academic results," Son said.

The organisers also shared that in 2022 and 2023, they raised more than VND1 billion for disadvantaged people nationwide.
