Cows transporting tourists on a beach in Binh Thuan Province
Carts were beautifully decorated to carry tourists along the Cam Binh Beach in Lagi Town. The service is attracting lots of visitors during the Tet holiday.
Each cart can transport eight passengers with a price of just VND20,000 (90 US Cents) per passenger a ride.
According to local people, carts were previously used to transport cargo and construction materials. Then some tourists in the area while walking on the long beach started to hire carts and the service gradually become popular.
Nguyen Huy Hoang who owns a cart said that there are now about 40 carts serving tourists.
"This service is becoming a good attraction for Binh Thuan and it is also helping create new jobs for us," Hoang said.
