Many houses in Ca Mau, Bac Lieu damaged due to heavy rain
Many houses in the southern provinces of Bac Lieu and Ca Mau have been ruined and damaged because of heavy rain and strong winds.
According to the Ca Mau Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue, torrential rain and violent wind destroyed six houses. Eight other homes lost their roofs.
Local authorities are helping the affected residents.
In Bac Lieu, five houses and two base transceiver stations were damaged.
Riverside areas in Dong Hai District faced erosion, affecting traffic.
Erosion has occurred in riverside areas in Bac Lieu and Ca Mau. In June, erosion damaged as many as 27 houses in Ward 5 in Bac Lieu City.
