Two teenagers drowned while swimming at a beach in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue's Phu Loc District on Sunday afternoon.
Thua Thien-Hue Border Guards announced on Monday morning that they had found the body of the second boy who went missing while swimming at a beach in Giang Hai Commune, Phu Loc District on Sunday afternoon.
The body was found floating on the local sea, some 50 metres from the shore at 7.20 am on October 2, the authorities said.
Earlier on the afternoon of October 1 a group of students all aged 15 went to swim at the sea. Two of them were washed away by the high strong waves and went missing.
A rescue team from the Thua Thien-Hue Border Guards arrived and found the body of one boy in the evening.
