Miss Grand Vietnam 2025 first runner-up Nguyen Thi Thu Ngan has been announced as Vietnam’s representative to the Miss Intercontinental 2025 pageant, which will take place in Egypt, with the grand finale scheduled for January 29, 2026, in Sahl Hasheesh.
The announcement was made recently by the local license holder of Miss Intercontinental Vietnam. Organizers said Thu Ngan was selected for her confidence, eloquence, and progressive spirit-qualities that make her a worthy successor to previous Vietnamese contestants who made their mark at the pageant, including Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc, Bui Khanh Linh, and Le Nguyen Ngoc Hang.
Born in 2003 in southermost Ca Mau province, Thu Ngan graduated with distinction in Public Relations from Nam Can Tho University. She was crowned Miss Nam Can Tho University 2022, placed as second runner-up at Miss Tay Do 2023, where she also won the “Best Ao ba ba” sub-title, and most recently earned the first runner-up title at Miss Grand Vietnam 2025.
The beauty queen is currently enhancing her communication, stage performance, and language skills in preparation for the international competition. She is expected to depart for Egypt on January 14, 2026.
First held in 1971, Miss Intercontinental is among the world’s longest-running beauty pageants, drawing more than 70 contestants from around the globe each year. Vietnam has maintained a strong presence at the competition, with Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc crowned Miss Intercontinental 2022, Le Nguyen Ngoc Hang finishing second runner-up in 2023, and Bui Khanh Linh named third runner-up in 2024.
