HCM City will hold fireworks at four sites
The city will host a 15-minute fireworks display from midnight to 12.15 am on January 1, 2026.
High altitude shows are planned at the eastern entrance of the Saigon River Tunnel in An Khanh Ward, the new central urban area in Binh Duong Ward and Tam Thang Square in Vung Tau Ward, while a low altitude show will be held at Dam Sen Cultural Park in Binh Thoi Ward.
The city will also install artistic lighting along central streets and stage cultural and musical performances, including a New Year’s Eve countdown on December 31 on Nguyen Hue Street. The countdown programme is expected to extend to Le Loi Street and Lam Son Park.
The Awakening the 2025 Dawn festival will take place on December 31 at Tam Thang Tower Square in Vung Tau Ward, featuring a run, a mass yoga performance and an evening art show. A food and culture festival will run from December 27, 2025 to January 1, 2026 at Bai Sau in Vung Tau Ward.
Outdoor performances will also be held on the evening of December 31 in front of the former Binh Duong Administration Centre and across several wards and communes, including Dau Tieng, Xuan Son, Binh Khanh, Go Vap and Phu Thanh.
