According to the French Institute in Vietnam, the tour will open on November 28 in Hanoi with a joint performance featuring Ciocarlie and the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra.

Her tour will continue in Hue on December 2, in Danang in central Vietnam on December 3, Ho Chi Minh City on December 6, and will conclude in the city of Dalat in the Central Highlands on December 7.

During the tour, Ciocarlie will also hold master classes for students at Hue Academy of Music and Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, teaching world-renowned classical works.

The series is part of ongoing cooperation between the French Institute in Vietnam and Dalat’s Pho Ben Doi Creative Studio, which has organized at least four major cultural and musical events annually in Dalat since 2020, bringing together artists from France and Vietnam, according to Nguyen Trung Hien, director of the studio.

Born in Bucharest, Ciocarlie began her studies at the Bucharest Conservatory and won several prestigious competitions, including the Yamaha Foundation Prize in 1993, the Cziffra Foundation Prize in 1994, and the Pro Musicis Prize in 1996. She currently teaches at the Lyon National Superior Conservatory of Dance.
