Dan Tri has sent VND123m (USD5,500) in donation from readers to a new-born baby in Ha Tinh Province who lost his mother right after birth.
Dinh Van Thang's mother was 36th week into pregnancy when the accident happened. After being hospitalised, the mother had to have a Caesarean section and died following childbirth.

His father, Dinh Van Huong, has had to stop work and stayed home to take care of the new-born baby, his 90-year-old mother and his two sons, one of which has down syndrome.
Huong said that they had received much care and attention after the story was published. "Some people sent us milk, clothes and nearly VND20m to care for the baby. I'm moved to tears," he said.
On May 9, representative of Dan Tri, leaders of Duc Long Commune and Duc Tho Districts visited and transferred VND123,138,000 to Huong.

"It's so heartwarming to receive help. Thanks to everyone that my child now has milk. I want to send my sincerest thanks to people that helped us," Huong said.
Tran Duc Thang, chairman of Duc Long Province also expressed his gratitude.
