Dantri recently presented the donations to the families, with VND 80,449,062 going to Luong Thi Hoai, VND 82,364,994 to Nguyen Thi Lan and VND 153,133,228 to Nguyen Thi Khau.

After Dantri published reports on their circumstances, readers and other benefactors sent money to support the families.
Speaking on behalf of the three households, Khau said the donations would help her take her parents for medical examinations and pay off some of the family's debts.
Khau is the family's main breadwinner, earning a living sewing bags on a piecework basis.
Even during busy periods, she works tirelessly without taking a day off but earns just over VND 5 million a month. When orders are scarce, the workshop gives her only four days of work a week, leaving her with less than VND 4 million a month.
Alongside caring for her elderly, sick parents, Khau must also raise two young children. Without support from Dantri readers and local authorities, her family would remain trapped in hardship.
“I am deeply grateful to Dantri readers for their kindness and for sharing our difficulties. I promise to use the money for its intended purpose and not let anyone down,” Khau said.

Luong Thi Hoai was also moved by the more than VND 80 million donated to her family.
Hoai cares for her elderly father, who has suffered from pneumonia and diabetes for years and is almost bedridden. Her two older brothers are also unable to work because of kidney disease and diabetes.
Unable to earn an income, Hoai spends all her time looking after her bedridden father and her two seriously ill brothers.
The donations from Dantri readers have given her renewed hope, allowing her to take family members for treatment and help them fight their illnesses.
