Germany’s Terre des Hommes has funded the construction of a disabled children education centre in the northern central province of Thanh Hoa.
The non-refundable fund of EUR30,000 (USD33,900) is offered following the proposal by the Thanh Hoa Association in Support for Handicapped and Orphans.
The Thanh Hoa Disabled Children Education Centre will be located at Ham Rong Ward in Thanh Hoa City. The project construction will last for one year.
The centre is aimed to offer study and vocational training opportunities for local disabled children, including those affected by Agent Orange/dioxin, helping them to integrate into society.
The provincial people’s committee and the Association in Support for Handicapped and Orphans will jointly carry out the project
