A dwarf couple in Hanoi is in need of financial help to treat various health problems and support their family.

Vuong Thi Luong and her husband, Vuong Xuan Loc are taking care of her 95 year-old father-in-law and their 14 year-old daughter in Quoc Oai District.
Luong and her husband are both just over one metre high. She said that because of weak health, her husband couldn't do hard work and illnesses tortures him even more. "He was diagnosed with cirrhosis and middle ear infection," she said.
She went on to say that they didn't have money so when they came to hospitals, the illnesses had already become too severe and doctors couldn't do anything about it.

Luong was weak from birth and also suffers from various illnesses such as goitre and arthritis. Doctors said she should have an operation for a worsening goitre but she don't have enough money.
Luong makes brooms and baskets which sell for tens of thousands of VND a day. "People rarely use these items now," she said, "But I still have to do something or else we won't have anything to eat."

Without a well or toilet, Luong has to store rainwater or asks neighbours for clean water.
In addition, they are still incurring a VND20m (USD909) debt that was used to buy medicines for Luong's husband. Luong said she didn't know how to repay the debt and treat their illnesses.
