Nearly 4,000 international tourists arrive in Khanh Hoa on cruise ships

The central coastal province of Khanh Hoa welcomed 1,900 international visitors who arrived on the Norwegian Spirit cruise ship at Cam Ranh International Seaport on Thursday.

Earlier on February 5, the Norwegian Sky cruise ship transported another 1,900 tourists to Cam Ranh.

The international tourists participated in a one-day tour of Nha Trang City, Nui Chua National Park, and Vinh Hy-Phan Rang Bay before leaving for Hong Kong.

Statistics from the Khanh Hoa Provincial Tourism Department showed that the city has received four international cruise ships, bringing over 8,000 visitors since the beginning of this year. 

Khanh Hoa is welcoming another nine cruise ships with 14,650 visitors from now to April.

In January, Khanh Hoa served over one million visitors and earned VND5.58 trillion, up 67.10 percent and 82 percent, respectively, compared to last year. International arrivals reached 519,000 during the period, up 27.90 percent on-year.
