Vietnamese female wrestler Pham Thi Duyen pocketed a silver medal at the 2011 Junior Wrestling World Championship in Bucharest, Romania.
Duyen automatically qualified for the quarter-finals and defeated Ukrainian Bogunenko Ganna 7-2.
She also beat US wrestler Erin Simone Golston 4-2 in the semi-finals but lost 5-13 to Fedorova Nadeza from Russia in the final match.
This is the first medal a Vietnamese wrestler has won in a Junior Wrestling World Championship.
