The world acclaimed violinist Sarah Chang, will play ‘The Four Seasons’ by Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi in the 16th Hennessy Concert at the Hanoi Opera House on April 12.

Last year, she toured in London, Zurich, Dublin, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Moscow and St. Petersburg.
As one of the world’s greatest violist, Sara Chang made her debuts at the age of eight in the New York Philharmonic and ever since has performed in many concerts along with most famous symphony orchestras and conductors.
Chang has also worked with a number of popular artists including Pinchas Zukerman, Wolfgang Sawallisch, Yfim Bronfman, Leif Ove Andsnes, Yo Yo Ma, Issac Stern and those from the Berlin Philharmonic.
In 2005, Yale University dedicated a chair in Sprague Hall in Chang's name.
Chang has received a number of awards, including the Avery Fisher Career Grant in 1992, Newcomer of the Year for "Echo" (1993), Newcomer of the Year at the International Classical Music Awards in London (1994) and Nan Pa awards (1993). Since 2011, she has become the US Arts Ambassador.
