The city has approved a yacht industry development plan for 2030 and a vision until 2050.

The city will finish the first phase of an international marina on the Han River and an international marina at Da Phuoc Urban Area in Hai Chau District, Thuan Phuoc International Maria in Son Tra District and Bach Dang Marina in Hai Chau District by 2025.
During the 2026-3030 period, the city will build the Marina Complex, Olalani Riverside Tower and DHC Marina on the Han River.
The yacht industry is expected to create around 35,000 jobs for Danang and contribute 2-3 percent to the city’s gross regional domestic product (GRDP) between 2025 and 2030. By 2050, the figures would be 57,000 jobs and 4-5 percent of the city’s GRDP.
Nguyen Duc Thuan, general director of Vietyacht, said that Danang boasted considerable potential for yachting services. Some yacht-makers are looking for markets in Asia, which provide an excellent opportunity for Danang.
