The design of Thu Thiem 4 Bridge
The HCM City Department of Transport is conducting the project’s feasibility report. Once approved, the project will be carried out in the 2024-2027 period under a public-private partnership (PPP).
Thu Thiem 4 Bridge is expected to help ease traffic congestion from the south of HCM City. This will create favourable conditions to attract investment and promote the development of the Thu Thiem new urban area and the southern new urban area of HCM City.
HCM City has eight key traffic projects prioritised for construction in the period from 2022 to 2025 when sufficient capital is allocated.
These projects include Thu Thiem 4, Can Gio, Ngoai Khoai and Binh Tien bridges.
