Under the decision, Hue City and Quang Ngai Province will each receive VND 100 billion, while Gia Lai Province will receive VND 300 billion and Dak Lak Province VND 200 billion.

The funding will help rebuild collapsed or damaged homes, repair essential infrastructure such as schools, healthcare facilities, roads and irrigation systems, and address other urgent recovery needs.

The Prime Minister urged localities to balance their own budgets and combine central support with other lawful resources to accelerate recovery efforts. He also required them to use the funds in line with state budget regulations to prevent losses, misuse or waste.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, recent disasters from Ha Tinh to Dak Lak left 90 people dead or missing, injured 273 others, destroyed 1,900 houses, damaged more than 227,000 homes and wrecked 684 fishing vessels. Total losses are estimated at about VND 30 trillion (approximately USD 1.14 billion).
